Wordful Wednesday Leaf Lovin’

Unnamed

The Dudes (#1 & #2) were at school.

I was at the doctor.

Dude #3 and Dumb Dad were at home putting in work on the yard.

Raking, raking, raking the millions of leaves that fall from our not-really-all-that-many trees into our yard each autumn.

Except for when they weren’t, because they were playing.

I came home to find two bags of leaves on my curb and three hundred and thirty thousand still strewn around my yard.

Along with one super big boy filled pile.

The only thing that makes raking worth it!

Have a beautiful/funny/perfect photo to share, but just have to use words to describe it?

Wordful Wednesday is the place for you!

Definitely a must for any childhood, mucking in the leaves! Admittedly, I’m still known to take a tumble in them myself lol! Happy WW!

    Happy Wednesday!

  15. Aww! What a great picture! The ONLY thing cool that can come from that many leaves strewn about everywhere. That and coloring the patterns of the leaves on the paper. Happy WW!

  28. We miss out on a lot of this leaf activity (and beauty) here in Tallahassee. But in return we also miss out on shoveling snow, mittens, and trying to drive on ice. Guess it’s worth it but I miss all that fall foliage! Enjoyed your pic.

  29. I love the leaves! That is an awesone picture! Somehow it doesn’t work the same with palm fronds…

Makes me sad to remember when my little man was that tiny, he had all those curls too! :(
