Tonight is the big #ConvoThread Twitter party with my @iVillage pals.
I’m so excited about this one because it’s about something I LOVE: TV!
I mean, it’s about other stuff too.
But, let’s just focus on the TV element of it for now.
Because, clearly, that is what I am most excited about!
To be honest though, if you’ve watched the video? About our guilty pleasures on TV? You will note that I mentioned my way to wile away an otherwise productive night involvs The Bachelor.
Only, guess what? I didn’t actually watch The Bachelor this season.
Because the Bachelor they chose was
lame not really someone I could connect with, and all of the prospective mates they located for him were total whores, um, unlikable. I don’t like watching lame, unlikable people with bad hair and annoying personalities get to live in a fancy mansion and spend their days flitting between hot tubs and helicopters as they jet off to beautiful locales they don’t deserve or appreciate.
So yeah, I watched two episodes and then said forget it.
So I watched reruns of Storage Wars instead!
Along with Once Upon a Time, Modern Family, American Idol, and a little Vampire Diaries to catch up on the season.
So, hop on Twitter tonight and follow the #ConvoThread hashtag because we’re gonna talk all about that stuff, and other cool stuff too, like which celebrity
we’d like to leave our husband’s for mom we’d like to have a lattte with, and which of our kids is our favorite, and other easy-to-talk-about type stuff.
And, what do you need to go with a girls night on Twitter?!
Deliciousness (and wine) of course!
Naturally, I have a few suggestions for what you should bake in preparation of our happy little Twitter party tonight. And, since I’m a bit of an addict, all of my favorite recipes can be easily found on Pinterest!
1. Best. Cookies. Ever. Easy to make. Yummy to eat.
2. Like a peanut butter cup. Only a ball. That’s crunchy. And delicious. We can sadly only enjoy these when our Peanut Allergy Baby is staying at Mimi’s house. At which point I make these, and eat them, in their entirety, on the same day!
3. In case you’re stuck being healthy or something, these aren’t horrible. I mean, they’re no chocolate wrapped around peanut butter and pretzels, but they are still pretty tasty. And, I bet they’d be alright if you wanted to toss in a little tequila all margarita style. Of course, they’d no longer be good for you if you did, so there’s that.
4. And, in case you’re looking for something NOT to make, let me give you a tip. Everything people pin does not wind up delicious. Some things wind up down right nasty. And they make you want to gag them right back up the way they came down in the first place. This is one of those things.
In your face Babble. #3 left his on the floor when he went to the potty (don’t ask why) and guess what we discovered? That even Dumb Dog wouldn’t eat this! And that’s saying a lot because she eats her own vomit.
I know, it looks rock solid, but believe me. It’s not.
I mean maybe it’s good, but not if you take the whole oh-this-only-takes-two-minutes-to-get-tasty part seriously.
So, chose one of the other options.
I’ve made every single thing on this list. So, I know what I’m talking about.
Now, RSVP for this party, and then show up tonight, on Twitter, 9pm (Eastern) and let me know what you made!
