You guys know that the itty bity blogger buttons over there on my sidebar are for sale, right?!
I mean, they don’t cost much ($15 for a tiny, and $25 for a big), but they aren’t free anymore either.
Unless I’m in a good mood. Or a bad mood. Or tired, hungry, lazy, happy, excited, or feeling exceptionally generous.
So, um, yeah. You can buy one. And they are a great bargain and I promo you and read your blog and say nice things about you on Facebook and Twitter. And wish on a star in your honor. And high five you when I run into you at blog conferences and junk.
And once a month, I use my blog to try to convince other people to read you too. Just ‘cause I really do only sell blog ads to people who are fan-freakin-tastic.
5 Reasons parenting BY dummies Sidebar Sponsor Peeps are Awesome
1. They have great ideas. Check out this cool post from A Grande Life on Fourth of July Treats. Personally, if I didn’t read her blog, I wouldn’t even know that the 4th is coming next week!

2. They are DIY super goddesses. I’m not even able to pretend to be a DIYer. I outsource everything I possibly can and usually have to buy something if I need it. But some of my sponsor mamas MAKE things. With their hands! Like this awesome idea from Mommy on a Shoe String for repurposing a patio umbrella into a bean trellis! Whaaaa?! I mean, who knew a patio umbrella could ever be used for anything other than just that?! Crafty, Mommy on a Shoe String, that’s who!
3. They take AMAZING photos. My photog crush, Kristi from Live and Love Out Loud, is one of my photo taking inspirations. I sometimes get into a I’m-too-lazy-to-haul-this-DSLR around ruts. And then, I go to her site. And I drool over her photos. And I feel like a loser. And then, I might get my tail in gear and go take photos of my kids. Hoping I will get even one that is half as good as this one she took of a car…
4. They make your heart sing. I’m not a huge feel good blogger. Not because I don’t have a heart, just because when I start crying it’s days before I can get myself to stop. The blubbery stuff doesn’t make much of an appearance since there is only so much boo-hoo face mama Dumb Dad can take. But, Christine mama at The Aums, does the whole make-you-cry-with-her-reflective-sweetness thing so very well. If you’re in the mood to have your heart moved, check out this post: I Love You and I Don’t Want You to Die
5. And they’re funnier than I am. At least Hollow Tree Ventures is. I laugh every single time I read her blog. And, I can really only say that about one other blogger: Roo, from Nice Girl Notes.
Also, be sure to check out fellow Dude Mom and sponsor Beeca at Our Crazy Boys. She does so many fun things with her Dudes and she reminds me daily that life with Dudes can (and should) be so exciting!
Want to buy a button from my dumb blog?! It’s easy and cheap and I say pretty things about you and I make people love you and my kids also get to eat and junk: Buy Me!

Awww! Amanda, you’re so sweet! :)
You’re too kind – I’m happy to hear some people laugh with me, and not just at me. Though really, either one is fine with me. :)
Thanks Amanda!
