Beyond Bologna: 18 Best School Lunch Ideas & A Linky to Share Yours!

The #BeyondBologna challenge is officially coming to an end!

I know, try not to get so excited.

We’ve enjoyed sharing our easy, healthy, and utterly awesome lunches with you and hope that some of our ideas have been inspiring.

Not sure what the heck I am even talking about because this is your first time on my blog?  First shame on you and welcome; this will be your new home.  And second, let me give you some background to get you all caught up.

Myself and four other amazing blogging mamas got together to challenge ourselves to be better prepares of school lunches for our children.

We had no idea how hard it would actually be to accomplish (and, let me just note, it.  Was.  Hard!).  We didn’t quite realize how much better our children’s lunches actually needed to be (we had an idea, clearly, but at least I didn’t quite note how much of a PB&J dependency I had).  And, we had no idea that this challenge would inspire so many people to actually make an effort to do better with us (and, for the record, being an inspiration is like my favorite thing.  Right up there with potty-trained puppies, free wi-fi, and cupcakes.  No joke.).

In an effort to make this experience timeless, searchable, and awesome for everyone, we’ve compiled all of our best recipes for you, so you can book mark the crap outta this page, and click to it when you get in a school lunch rut and need something healthy, fresh, and fun to pack for your kiddos.  You can thank us in comments or cash; we’re good with both.

Ooo I love these ideas. It’s my first time packing lunches and other than alternating turkey or ham, provolone or marble jack it’s essentially the same lunch everyday. Now I have to check these recipes out!
