Fitness Friday. Revolt Fitness Program for Women.

I’ve been on the Revolt Fitness program for women (which I received free access to) for a full week now.

Sort of.

I mean, mostly.

Don’t question me!

I’m trying.  I swear I’m trying.

The workouts are a breeze.  Easy to follow and do because you just watch the videos and then do them with her, and they are pretty short.  Like, less than 30 minutes short.

Generally I go to the gym in the morning and do the Revolt workouts in the evening.

No big deal.

I love working out now anyway because it means I can eat more yummy stuff makes me feel better.

So, it’s not the Revolt workouts that I’m avoiding like the plague

It’s the FOOD.

One major part of the Revolt program are the menu plans.  They are specifically designed to help your body make the most of your workouts.  So you lose more fat.  And add more muscle.  And wind up looking like Serena Williams all mama-said-knock-you-out and junk.

I actually don’t want to look like Serena Williams.

I wouldn’t mind looking like say Gabrielle Union though.

Only, unless I can whip this Revolt diet into shape, probably not going to happen.

And, I’m never eating raisins.

Ever.

I took some really poor quality “before” photos to remind me why I’m torturing myself doing this whole thing in the first place…

And that I can’t wear this bra with this shirt.  And that someone needs to come over here and clean this filthy garage up.  And that my kids take horrible photographs.

Next week will be better.  Maybe.  Totally.

  1. I just saw You in that tv program called what not to Wear, You really løst some weight since Then, which måles me extremely happy to see. You are a strong woman, and i know that You can continue down that road!! Congratz with the great job so far :)

  3. Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is important and everything. However think of if you added some great images or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and clips, this website could certainly be one of the very best in its niche. Amazing blog!

    Uh, don’t make me try Revolt. I’ve been doing some Cross Fit at home, but I only like exercising because I want to eat whatever I want without worrying about it. Of course, that doesn’t mean I’m eating a gallon of rocky road ice cream and two burgers… or DOES it…? Either way, you’re looking good, mama!!!

  7. I didn’t know that you were taking part in the Revolt program!! Awesome… I am too! I’ve actually been doing the detox this first week and OMG… it’s not easy… not at all.

  8. I’ll clean your garage if you clean my basement (I know, that makes no sense!) Keep trying. Really, what more can you ask of yourself?

    Eh, don’t beat yourself up about it, plus you already look good. I just (re)started my fitness regimen yesterday – it’s the Jillian Michaels body revolution thingy. The workouts are also about 30 min. each, but I think I miss the gym and listening to my mp3 player. Erm, anyway, may the force be with you haha.

  10. You can do it!! I just started going to the gym this week. Good luck! I need to take some before photos too. But you do look great. I have a lot more to lose and tone.
