Best in Blog: Family Meal Planning.

This week on Best in Blog we’re just gonna go with what’s on everyone’s mind anyway (and by everyone, I mostly just mean me): the VMA’s meal planning!

I am obsessed.

I literally Google Miley Cyrus twerking at the VMA’s 30 minute meals for like an hour every morning.   I coulda made two meals in that time!

But, I think now that I have a really good list of Miley Memes go to food sites to use as resources, I’ll be set when I sit down to tackle next week’s meal plan.

You should meal plan too, so I’m not alone in this thing because it will be good for you!

Here’s a little family meal planning inspiration…

Best in Blog Week Night Meals: Real Life Dinner.  Trying this Mexican casserole recipe tonight.

Best in Blog Baking: Brown Eyed Baker. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies.  (Seriously, this is pure happiness.  I make them for every event and people try to abduct me.  I made the homemade brownies once but now use Ghirardelli brownie mix.  Because as delish as the homemade ones were, don’t nobody got time for that!).

Best in Blog: Healthy Food.  Two Peas and Their PodQuinoa Mac and Cheese  The Dudes actually cried, real tears, when I put this in front of them, but I liked it.  They ate it under duress, along with bread.  Lots and lots of bread.

  1. First- if my kid ever pulls a stunt like that…omg…she should beware of mama!!

Second- I must make these brownies!!

And I love a weekly menu. Makes my life easier. And I always plan a leftover day too so we don’t waste as much and fridge stays less cluttered. One less thing for me to think about on a daily basis while chasing after a 2 year old. Gonna try the quinoa Mac n cheese on her too ;-)

  2. Thanks for the mention! I can always use even more meal planning help so I’m off to visit the other links. Plus that Quinoa Mac and Cheese sounds really cool!

  3. I made the quinoa macaroni and cheese a few times – so good! The cookie dough brownies have been on my wish list for awhile.
