It’s been a while since I’ve posted a stylin’ post.
Don’t get it twisted, I’m still looking fly. You know, mostly. Like with a coat on. And boots. Because, brrrrr.
It’s just that I find it ridiculously difficult to take good style photos. I wind up with a bunch of pics like this…
Because my arms are only so long. And I am not a pro-selfie taker. And, I get sick of asking DudeDad to snap pics of me, and then hearing him sigh, and then giving him the eye until he gets up and gives me the JEEZ-let’s-get-this-over-with face, and then trying not to feel awkward because he’s looking at my like are-you-serious-right-now-put-your-deuces-away, and then snatching the camera away from him as I stomp off in a huff to cry while I take shots of my shoes because I can see those no problem.
It’s just exhausting.
Only, every now and then, I stumble across something so stylin’ that all of that ugly is worth it. Or, it’s below the waist awesome that is easy to capture all by my lonesome.
Today is one of those times because I got my first pair of zipper leg pants since 1992 this past weekend!
I so freaking love them!
After a stroll through H&M where I came thiiiiiiiis close to leaving empty handed, I stumbled across a pair of stretchy fancy pants haphazardly wedged in between a chunky sweater and a puffy vest. It was fate that I discovered them and, as I shimmied into them in the dressing room, I knew they were made just for me.
So comfy, so chic, so shiny with their up the back of the calf zippers.
Everyone should have a pair.
Also awesome, jewelry!
I am so bad about getting quality accessories, but when I do I like to make sure they are classic type pieces that will look good on me even when I’m wrinkly and old.
Perfect example: Blue Nile Sterling Silver Necklace
Blue Nile is a great place to pick up some good accessories to wear or gift or just gaze at through your computer screen when you find the diamond studs you’ve been looking for, because, whoa, thirteen hundred bucks is a lot of freaking cash!
Get your mind off that and back on this. Because this free jewelry can actually be yours!
Gift giving is awesome.
