We aren’t big on the Easter celebrating thing here.
I sort of gave up on real boiled eggs after two years of not finding some until school let out for summer and the scent began to give its location away.
I determined that I was too bad at remembering where I put them and my kids were to uninterested to look super hard for that stink show to continue.
And, one year, Dude 3 had a seizure right in the middle of egg dyeing -sort of sealed the deal for us.
Now, if we hide it is plastic. I’m not sure this year we will even do that.
We usually go to my parents’ house for dinner and my mom gives the Dudes a basket of some sort.
Even now that they are older and are clear on the whole Easter Bunny situation, she usually gives them something.
She’s a good Mimi like that.
