You guys now how much I enjoy my surprise monthly boxes.
Most recently, I decided that I needed to try a beauty box.
I explored a bunch of different options and finally settled on the Allure Beauty Box.
I loved that it was full of things I would use, but would maybe not invest in for myself.
Like a moisturizing face mask!
In all of my life I have never done a face mask before.
Call me crazy, but if you know me you know that my beauty regimen is largely water and soap and sunscreen if I’m being fancy. It makes my mom twitchy, but I just never really got into skin care the way I will probably wish I had come 50.
Which is why this is perfect!
I don’t have to do the research. I don’t have to spend hours on the brightly lit beauty aisle at Target. All I have to do is sit in my jammie pants and wait for the magic to come in the mail!
Thinking about trying out a beauty box?
Here’s what you need to know about this option from Allure.
5 Things to Know About the Allure Beauty Box
It Is Compiled and Sent Out By Allure Magazine Editors
Which means it’s good stuff picked by people who know good stuff when they see it. I feel like I can trust the people who have filled Allure Magazine with so much useful beauty info for so many years. They actually try the products themselves before they recommend them for the box. So if something is sorry, it won’t get a shot at inclusion.
It is a Monthly Subscription
Every month, check your mail box, joy will arrive.
You Will Find Deluxe Sample Sizes Inside
Mostly. They don’t send you mini lipsticks, but they also don’t send you full sized bottles of facial moisturizer. It’s a size you can use long enough to fall in love, but not so long that you feel wasteful if you decide it’s not for you.
It Costs $15 Per Month
Which I find pretty affordable considering I spend that on one single bottle of SPF 15 moisturizer. Bonus: you can cancel at any time, no questions.
The Mini Mag Inside Is BAE
It is a write up of each of the products inside of the box detailing how to use it and what to expect. I love it because I totally wouldn’t have known what was up with the humongousaur lip gloss they sent that actually turned out to be a face highlighter. J
