I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite things about the holiday season is Christmas movies!
For whatever reason, my movie standards when it comes to Christmas flicks is dramatically lowered – a little jingle, a little jolly, and lots of love, then I’m down.
It’s about the nostalgia and the happiness and the joy of Christmas, wrapped up in a predicable plot where the adorable or awkward or lost or hopeful girl or guy winds up with their Christmas wish under the tree just in time for the holiday. They’re perfect, even if their sappy plots and corny dialogue wouldn’t fly any other time of the year.
And every network seems to have jumped on the bandwagon when it comes to Christmas movies. Personally, I’m partial to Hallmark, with their seemingly endless cheery new films to choose from, but you can’t push some of the others to the side. As many networks have jumped full force into the Christmas movies game, creating new titles, including some multi-part hits (Netflix I’m looking at you with your Christmas Prince joints) that have fans aching for them each season, there are just so many Christmas movies to choose from this year.
Honestly, there’s no reason to go a single day without Christmas movies to joyify your life!
Here are a few titles we’ve fallen in love with this holiday season if you need some help navigating through the noise.
