There are few things The Dudes and their daddy love like history. In fact, Dude 1 wants to make his future living as a historian (is that like a real job in 2015?!) and his love of all things old and decrepit rubs off hardcore on his younger siblings with their copycatting ways. A couple of years ago, this photo of Dude #3 showed up in a Buzzfeed post. Something about cool kids and being cool (keep scrolling, he’s number 16). It was a really strange parenting moment. My first thought was: Finally! Other people see how dope my offspring is. Mom score!
I bought #1 his first adult sized shirt this week. He’s officially outgrown the children’s department and is the size of a small-ish man. Just this past New Year’s Eve he was shorter than me. Two months ago, I was still looking down at him. Okay, like not down, down, but definitely straight across. Sort of eye to eye-ish.
