Disney’s Christopher Robin Movie Release is in July & I’ll Be On the Red Carpet

Which is exactly perfect because Chris and his furry friends have been a part of our story for ages.

I decorated our fist baby’s nursery with Winnie the Pooh decor.

We had an adorable honey pot lamp, Winnie the Pooh decals for the walls, bumpers and sheets and blankets covered with Winnie and his friends, and this guy…

He’s been a part of our lives for over 16 years.

I don’t even remember liking Winnie the Pooh as a child, but I remember when I came across the hunny pot lamp tucked in the back of a Burlington Coat Factory baby section and I knew that he was perfect for my own little Dude.

So I bought it along with every other Pooh related baby item I could find and afford. I fell in love with the whimsy and magic the characters and their stories brought into my life as a new mom and I knew my son would love the stories.

We still have most of his Winnie the Pooh books from when he was a baby.

It’s no wonder then that I am truly excited about being invited to the red carpet event for the live-action release of Disney’s Christopher Robin movie!

I first saw the trailer for this film at Disney World in Orlando when I was there earlier this year for the Social Media Moms Event and I remember thinking it looks like such a sweet and happy film that all of us who’ve grown older and lost touch with life’s magic thanks to full time adulting can relate too.

Disney’s Christopher Robin Movie

In Disney’s Christopher Robin movie, the young boy who embarked on countless adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his band of spirited and lovable stuffed animals, has grown up and lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin remember the loving and playful boy who is still inside.

The Christopher Robin movie looks like the perfect family flick that moms, dads, and kids will all be able to watch and enjoy together when it comes out on August 3, 2018.

I’m excited to have the opportunity to chat with some of the show’s cast (fingers crossed Ewan will be there because think of the street cred I will get from my kids when I tell them I got to meet Obi Wan!).

Wreck it Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet

In addition to hanging with the Christopher Robin cast, we will be taking a trip to Walt Disney Animation Studios to screen Wreck It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet, where we will also chat with some of the geniuses who put pen to paper to make that magic come to life on the big screen.

Avenger: Infinity War on Digital and DVD

And, because all of this isn’t spectacular enough, we will also be sitting down with Trinh Tran, Executive Producer of Avengers: Infinity War as the film is set to be released on digital July 31st and to DVD August 14th.

Avengers: Infinity War

My Dudes have provided me a list of questions to ask Ms. Tran (several of which I am certain she can’t answer), because they are still all in knots over this film and where Marvel is headed next. I won’t spoil it for you in case you haven’t seen it yet, just know that things get crazy. I’m hoping some of the bonus features set to be released with the DVD will give us some hints about what’s to come!

There will be some other surprises along the way that I will be sure to share with all of you over on Instagram.
