Clorox® Bleach has been a part of our family’s clothes washing process for pretty much ever.
In fact, my mom swore by the stuff for everything from getting whites whiter to killing strains of viruses you’ve probably never heard of
With more demands on families, and the availability of new technology and services, I don’t focus nearly as much as much of my time tackling general home chores as my mom did.
Regardless, laundry seems inescapable and, like many busy parents who live in a perpetual state of dirty laundry, most days I’m pretty sure I could do a load (or 5) with my eyes closed. But, there are some tougher challenges that tend to pop up in my day-to-day routine that require additional attention.
For many of those, Clorox is my solution.
Get Clorox Clean: Solving Your Biggest Laundry Challenges with Clorox
Laundry Challenge: Tough stains on uniforms.
If you’re a mom to kids who haven’t met a piece of clothing they can’t ruin the first time they wear it like I am, then you know firsthand the necessity of a powerful stain fighting solution.
Sports uniforms seem to cause a particular challenge at our house. With three boys playing three different sports year-round, it is certainly a challenge I’m forced to face on an almost daily basis.
We’ve battled countless tough stains among their uniforms—mud, grass, blood, unidentified substances—and while no two stains seem to be quite the same, most of them respond to one thing: Clorox Bleach.
Solution: Clorox® Bleach Pen Gel
It’s a portable stain removal solution with a fine point for precision cleanup jobs, and a scrub brush for larger ones. It’s perfect for the grass stained knees of your son’s uniform pants, or the white jersey he bled all over when he got elbowed in a game. You can use it for general household jobs as well (like grout cleaning), but I use it most often to take care of the various sports related stains my dudes encounter on a weekly basis.
Laundry Challenge: Dingy white jeans.
It happens. Slowly but surely, white jeans lose that bright white pop, preventing you from feeling your best when strutting your stuff.
At least that’s how mine seem to work.
Solution: Clorox® Bleach Crystals
With a compact, smaller bottle, Clorox Bleach Crystals are easier to lift, but just as powerful as the liquid, traditional version of Clorox Bleach. These bleach crystals start to work their clothes-brightening magic when they’re met with water, meaning they can’t be guilty of sloshing around and ruining nearby clothing or furniture.
Clorox Bleach Crystals are convenient, spill-free, and easy to use, but don’t sacrifice a bit of the whitening, brightening, or cleansing power we’re used to with traditional Clorox Bleach.
I pop them into my washer tub with every load of summer whites that I want to be dazzling.
Laundry Challenge: Clothing ruined by bleach splatter.
Once this happens, there truly is no coming back from it, and sadly, I can’t even count on one hand how many perfectly cute outfits have been inadvertently ruined thanks to bleach splatter.
Solution: Clorox® Zero Splash™ Bleach Packs™
Like the bleach crystals, the zero splash bleach packs are a no-splash solution that allows for mess free laundry and cleaning in your home. They’re premeasured, easily portable, and ready to be added directly to your laundry without the threat of splashes, spills, or splatters of any kind.
I add these to my laundry to keep all of my whites fresh and bright while keeping my favorite gray hoodie free of bleach stains.
