When it comes to receiving gifts as a mother, I can say with complete and total honesty that I’ve never once been disappointed in something my children have given me.
Whether they made it with their tiny little hands, or bought it with the $5 they’ve been saving since their birthdays, I’m always happy to be gifted with something they thought I’d love or want or even need. Even if I didn’t ask for it.
It’s just nice to be thought of, ya know?
After all of the mom things I do on a daily basis, it’s so rewarding when my Dudes get me something that they just know would make me happy.
That said, there are things I wish for.
Things I’ve been wanting to buy, things I’ve been wanting to try, things I’ve been wishing and hoping and begging for time to do -like a nap, or a day to read, or to watch whatever I want, uninterrupted, on Netflix.
And, I’m not alone.
I asked 100 moms what they’d really love their families to gift them with, that they could actually give them.
So, no Lambos, no 10 years back, none of that outlandish stuff we all secretly wish for, but know will never happen.
These are real gift ideas from real moms who really just want a nap, and a couple of cute things.
