You guys know how much I love gift giving.
Every year I make something tasty with my kids for my neighbor friends. Usually it’s cookies, because Christmas and cookies go together like Santa and his elves.
This year, we skipped the chocolate chip standards and went with these tasty eggnog frosted gingerbread cookies that we started making last Christmas (click the recipe, you will NOT be sad)…
It took few days to make enough batches for everyone in between basketball games and soccer trainings, but totally worth it because what would Christmas gifting your hood homies be without loading them and their kiddos up with some sugary awesome?!
And some heartfelt words of peace and joy?
Thanks to the awesome stack of Mahogany cards I was sent to sample this holiday season, I had more than enough holiday greeting happiness to spread around to my nearby (and faraway) friends…
The cards are a beautiful and heartfelt way to express to friends and family that you care. The fun ones are perfect to get recipients in a joyful mood, but they also have spiritual cards and those with deeper messages for loved ones you really want to touch with your words. Regardless of what you’re trying to convey, Mahogany has a greeting card that is authentic and expressive in a way that says you care.
With nothing more than a few hours in the kitchen (where sampling is not only allowed but encouraged), some special greetings, a holiday tin from the $1 store, some festive packaging, and some huge smiles, you have the perfect DIY holiday gift for friends and family. Added bonus? Spending time creating it all with the kids. It’s a great way to enjoy some family time during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.
The Dudes did the delivery honors and everyone was so happy to receive a belly filling, heartfelt treat. Note the sweet IG comment from our neighbor…
