Graduation season is fully upon us which means time to get those graduation gift ideas in order.
In fact, with some kids already getting out of school for the summer, you probably need to go ahead and do an Amazon Prime order if you want to get it to the new grad in a reasonable amount of time. (I see you procrastinators and I’m here for you.)
This is the first year in quite a few that we don’t have a friend with a child graduating. In past years, because I procrastinate and also know that money is always welcome, we usually just do the cash gift thing.
As useful as that is for a college bound or workforce bound 18 year old, there are some more creative graduation gift ideas out there that the fresh adult set are likely to dig.
I’m not much of an expert on what girls might be fans of in 2018 (hi, I’m old), but I have a few ideas about what dudes might like.

A nice watch.
We love Jord wood watches here and with all of their funky and unique designs, there is probably a great pick for every graduating Dude on your list.
An Amazon Prime subscription.
A year of free shipping on all of the things is basically the gift that keeps on giving.

A toiletry bag.
So he doesn’t have to be the basic dude with the plastic shower caddy when he hits the dorms or the youth hostels of Europe if traveling is in his plans.
Our pick: Rustic Leather Toiletry Bag
A good suitcase.
Speaking of traveling, everyone needs a good suitcase not held together by duct tape in their lives. Get him his first one and he may not be jumping for joy at the moment, but will appreciate the practicality of it when he is ready to hit the road.
Our pick: Samsonite Winfield Hardside
Noise canceling headphones.
These will come in handy while studying in the library or trying to catch some zzz’s on a train. Plus, they just look cool.
Our pick: Bose Quiet Comfort
A good portable speaker.
This is great for times when he’s hanging out and doesn’t need to worry about who else can hear his jams.
Our pick: JBL Speaker
An electric toothbrush.
Might as well make his oral hygiene a priority. Throw in a couple of extra brush heads too so he doesn’t have to use his limited cash to replace them.
Our pick: Oral-B Pro
An air purifier.
Will totally come in handy in his muggy dorm room, but could also be a nice addition to his room at home if he’s staying. His parents will probably thank you too!
Our pick: Levoit Air Purifier
A sturdy, but cool, backpack.
Because he needs it to carry his stuff, but he wants it to look fresh while it does.
Our pick: eBags Slim Laptop Backpack
A weighted blanket.
These are supposed to be great for reliving stress and helping with anxiety and insomnia. Plus, they feel good too!
Our pick: YnM Weighted Blanket
