We’ve been enjoying Maryland pumpkin patches since we moved here in 2001.

Catoctin Colorfest
The Catoctin Colorfest was established in 1963 and has evolved into one of the largest outdoor craft shows on the East Coast. Colorfest is not just an event, but an experience! Amazing crafts, art, jewelry, clothing, a variety of delicious food, and much more is located throughout town. Visit Colorfest and discover why thousands come to Thurmont year after year.
Local art, jewelry, crafts, and a variety of delicious food are just a few of the fun things you will find at this annual event! Catoctin Colorfest, located in Thurmont, MD, is one of the largest outdoor craft shows on the East Coast and is held as the area’s vibrant leaves are changing.

Maryland Renaissance Festival
The Royal Intrigue is just one aspect of the Maryland Renaissance Festival, set in the Village of Revel Grove where visitors can find all manner of amusement, feasting and shops galore.
More than 200 performers fill ten stages and taverns as well as the streets of the village with continuous entertainment. A three thousand seat jousting arena host authentic combat joust thrice daily as well as other large exhibitions. More than 140 merchants fill their shops with their predominately handcrafted wares by the artisan in the shop, as well as various demonstrating shops creating treasures before your eyes. Forty-two food and beverage emporiums and five taverns create a feast throughout the village to sate your appetite and quench your thirst.

Fall Festival at Summers Farm – Frederick County Pumpkin Patch
For more than 25 years, Summers Farm has become the destination for fall fun in Frederick County, Maryland. With over 45+ fun activities, the farm is the perfect destination for family fun, corporate outings, field trips, Scout outings, and more!
Challenge yourself or get lost with friends and family playing the world’s largest interactive game: Summers Farm’s famous corn maze!
Summer’s Farm in Maryland is home to one of the largest corn mazes in the country.
Each year, we design our maze with a theme to create a message or picture only visible from the sky. Among the 2.5 miles of trails we create, we also have hidden two scenic bridges!
Pumpkins are sold by the pound. You pay for what you pick! We grow a variety of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes. Some of our large pumpkins are Atlantic Giant and Big Moose. Unusually colored ones are Full Moon, Hooligan, Lumina and World of Color. More magical pumpkin variety names are Gladiator, Gold Rush, Bumpkin, Fairytale and Speckled Swan. At Summers Farm, pumpkin pickin’ is really an adventure!

Gaver Farm – Frederick County Pumpkin Patch
Enjoy fall on the farm by conquering the twists and turns of the corn maze, bouncing on the jumping pillows, petting and feeding the farm animals and cruising down the giant slides. There are over 60 attractions, appropriate for any age including 2 jumping pillows, Chicken Show, farm animals, mini mazes, playgrounds, duck races, ball games, photo centers and so much more!

Fall at Baugher’s – Carroll County Pumpkin Patch
Fall weekends are full of fun at Baugher’s!
With live music, scenic wagon rides, scarecrow making, a petting zoo, food vendors and more, you and your family will love spending a crisp fall afternoon on the farm.

Autumn at Larriland Farm – Howard County Pumpkin Patch
Visit Larriland Farm and enjoy the fall color display each year that Mother Nature puts on as the leaves change color.
The farm is decorated for Halloween with ghosts and goblins to delight and scare you. The fields are laden with crisp, succulent vegetables. The orchards are bent down with apples. It’s the last harvest to reap before the cold winter sets in. And fall is the perfect time to enjoy a tall glass of freshly squeezed sweet apple cider.
On Saturdays and Sundays in late September and October, try a hayride during the day (9:30am – 4:30pm) . This is a tractor drawn 20 minute wagon ride over the farm, ford a stream and through the woods which are decorated for Halloween. These hayrides are open to everyone. A fee per person is charged. No reservation is required. Wagons run continuously from 9:30am to 4:30pm Saturdays and Sundays.
The Straw Maze, built in a confusing pattern with large round bales of straw, is a delightful place to get lost. The Straw Maze is open every day the farm is open in late September and October. The Boo Barn is for children ages 4 – 6. It is a dark passage in the bottom of the Red Barn and is filled with animated, not too scary ghosts and goblins. The Boo Barn is open every day the farm is open in late September and October.

Butler’s Orchard Pumpkin Festival – Montgomery County Pumpkin Patch
Butler’s is celebrating their 41st annual fall festival in 2021 and they’re excited to welcoe families to the farm to enjoy a host of activities.
Festival admission includes: Admission to Pick Your Own Pumpkins, Hayrides, Hilltop Hop Jump Pads, Jump in the hayloft, Visit Barnyard Buddies, Twisted Corn Maze, Live Music and more. 2021 also brings a new event: the tractor pull!

Fall Fun at Weber’s Cider Mill Farm – Baltimore County Pumpkin Patch
Autumn is a magical time on the farm, when everything from apples to pumpkins are ready for harvest. Your family will love a day on the farm. Barnyard Fun is available with the purchase of a general admission ticket and includes Maze and mini maze for the younger ones, Giant Hillside Slide, Duck Races, Farm Animals, Tire Mountain, Pumpkin Land walking route, The Boo Barn and more.

Milburn Orchards – Cecil County Pumpkin Patch
In celebration of the fall harvest, the BIG BackYard has a special theme for each weekend, offering families lots of variety and fun activities. Different weekends have different themes! The first two weekends of Farm Festivals AND ALL Friday’s are discounted 33%!

Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch – Frederick County Pumpkin Patch

Maryland Corn Maze – Anne Arundel County Corn Maze
They’re mazein’ across America in this road trip themed corn maze.
With 8 acres of corn maze to explore you and the family will enjoy adventuring through this attraction this fall and snapping pics along the way.
After you conquer the maze hang out for tons of other activities including a farm flyer zip line, pedal carts, hayrides, jump pad, petting zoo and tons more.

Middleton’s Legacy Farm Lawnscapes Fall Festival – Charles County Pumpkin Patch
Legacy Farm’s 2021 corn maze is over six acres with two full miles of maze to explore. They’ve incorporated a cool trivia game for visitors to play by scanning QR codes with their phones and checking in at various points along the maze.
Their fall celebration also includes hayrides, farm animals, a pumpkin sling shot and plenty of pick your own pumpkins to choose from.

Queen Anne Farm – Prince George’s County Pumpkin Patch
With plenty of space to explore and lots of fun photo ops, the entire family will enjoy a day on the farm at Queen Anne Farm in Mitchellville, Maryland.
Take a tractor pulled haywagon to the pumpkin patch where you can select the pumpkin that will make the perfect jack-o-lantern. Be sure to snap a pic in front of the massive pumpkin house and make time to stop at the farm store for more fall essentials.

At Baltimore’s oldest running craft beer festival you’ll find hundreds of craft beers, wines, ciders, and schnapps will fill up your souvenir glass as you enjoy this day-long festival in the shadows of M&T Bank Stadium.
