Hersheypark is an awesome destination for families to visit.
Located just a few miles outside of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the state capitol, Hershey is home to the chocolate factory of the same name as well as many other exciting, family-friendly attractions.
An easy drive from the D.C., Baltimore, and several other northeast metro areas, a visit to Hersheypark means that you and your family are in for one sweet vacation. You can spend hours exploring the park (and don’t forget the zoo inside of the park) and then fill up the rest of your trip visiting some of the other local, Hershey related attractions.
And, while we are partial to many of their summer activities (The Dudes love The Boardwalk, Hersherpark’s waterpark), there are things to do in Hershey no matter what time of year you choose to visit.
No matter what your final literary looks like, you’re going to need somewhere to lay your head at night. When it comes to choosing where to stay in Hershey, we always elect to book at one of the Hersheypark official resorts. While each is perfect in so many ways, they all offer unique accommodations, activities, and more that will help you and your family have a comfortable, relaxing, sweet getaway.
If you’re planning a visit, here are some things to know to help you plan where to stay in Hershey.
