Stitch Fix: The 8 Emotional Stages of Getting Your Fix

Stitch Fix, you guys.

It brings me so much fashion happy.

Expect me to share my boxed up style surprises with you for the rest of for always, because I’m never quitting them.

And lookit…

This month I kept the dress…

And, the blouse…

But, it’s more than just the clothing and other accessories that they send. It’s an experience.

The entire process is so thrilling for me. From shipped email to return the things I’m too chunky or too poor to keep, the entire thing is just joyful and fun.

Probably I have a sadly boring life. Really, I don’t even want to care.

Let me take you through the process.

Stitch Fix: The Eight Emotional Stages of Getting Your Fix

You get an email notice saying your fix has been scheduled…

You wait and wait and wait and wait, checking your email feverishly for them to say your Stitch has been shipped.

Then, you log on one day and they have! And the excitement, you literally can not even contain it!

Once you shove your brain back into your skull, your feverish waiting switches to real life as you stalk your mail box like the fashionable fiend you’re not even sad you’ve become

Then it arrives and in your excitement you may do something you regret. Like challenge the mail lady to a dance off…

Don’t judge. We all express joy differently. Besides, your kids will probably disown you and vow to never be seen with you and your Stitch Fix in public again…

You can’t care though, because you have what you wanted and it’s yours. All yours…

Except for the things that have to go back. Because probably something will have to go back. Sometimes, it’s easy because the jeans make you look like a sausage. But mostly it’s hard because you’re confused and you can’t remember if you want a house and a car or all of the pretty things…

Adult life usually wins out which is okay because you know what? You get to do it all over again next month!

Wooohooo, Stitch Fix, woooohooo!
