As an actual person getting an actual makeover.
Years ago.
I decided to jump on the YouTube Story Time train and share this one as it is still one of the most read, searched for, and commented on posts on this blog.
And people still ask me about it -what was it like, were they nice, do I hate my friend?
Awesome, yes, and chile please, of course not, she helped change my life!
Before I went on the show I was a sullen, frumpy, nightmare of a woman. I was sad, I felt bad, and I wore hot pink jumpsuits because they were comfy and cheap. For the record, comfy and cheap should not be what comes to mind first when people meet you. It’s a first impression you really don’t want to make.
Anyway, it changed me. And to this day I am so happy it happened.
