You guys know I’m all about functional fashion.
Yes, I want to look good, but feeling good is even more important.
This is especially true when I’m working my way through Disney.
Because even while amusement parking, I don’t want to look like an amusement park-er. It’s Florida and 90 degrees so I’m for sure going to be dripping sweat with my hair frizzed out. Nothing to be done about that unfortunate circumstance. But, I can control what I wear.
So, no, you won’t catch me in a hat with a propeller on top, or with a backpack shaped like Yoda on my back, or with a bulky, overstuffed fanny packed wrapped around my waist while my muffin top spills over it. That type of stuff works for some people, but for me, I just feel ridiculous. Like someone who has a propeller on their head and an alien clinging to their back reasonably would.
Not a good look for me.
What is a good Disney look for me?
This…
Tee, Target. Shorts, H&M. Shoes, Marshalls.
It is my quintessential Disney style. Just ripped shorts, canvas shoes, and a fly Thor tee. Because Thor is hotness.
I also rolled out my favorite new romper…
Romper, H&M. Vest, Target. Shoes, DSW. Clutch, Aeropostale.
And rocked a dress…
Dress and cardigan, Aventura. Shoes, American Eagle.
Cute outfits! I’m always stumped on what to wear to amusement parks. But the big question… where’s your bag? And what bag do you carry?? And why oh why is the most comfortable and practical bag — the fanny pak — have to be the most hideous? 1980s comeback, anyone?? LOL
