Need to wow someone you love with chocolate?
This is hands down the most sought after chocolate treat I’ve ever made.
So sought after in fact, that local friends, family members, and teammates will place call ahead orders to ensure I bring this particular dish when they are planning a party we are invited to.
DudeDad insinuated that we only get invited to things because of my brownies. I told him he was wrong, because it’s my milkshakes that brings all the boys to the yard.
He doesn’t think I’m funny.
Clearly he’s cray.
Regardless, even he is won over by my baking awesome!
Valentine’s Day Brownie Recipe
These are my chocolate chip cookie dough brownies.
Every time you eat one and angel gets its wings.
Think of all of the angels you’re helping.
For Brownies (use a mix if you want, I do sometimes and no one cares.)
- 3cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups flour
Directions:
- Heat oven to 350. Grease 13×9 inch pan.
- Combine all ingredients for brownies and mix until combined.
- Bake for 30 minutes (they’re done when they start to pull away from the pan).
- Cool completely.
For cookie dough topping: use this recipe. It’s egg free and safe to just lick right out of the bowl if that’s how you like to get down.
Do it for the angels, y’all.
Oh man I hear you, sugar is such a little devil and it’s in everything…not just candy anymore. I hope this alternative helps you meet your goal! I have an additional 5 I’d like to lose too and might I add, your loose jeans look FANTASTIC! Way to go!!
I found your blog thru the Type A link up and boy did I die laughing at this post. I had the norohellavirus on Sunday and was raving (after the fact of course) how I lost 6 lbs. Now im determined to keep it off. Great kick start to my weight loss but no way to loose it. Ugh.
Those brownies look develish good. Thank you for sharing. Im adding it to my list of must haves.
I was wondering what recipe I should try to make with the box of Splenda I have too. My kids would LOVE this. Thanks for sharing!
That looks like an awesome recipe (sans the Splenda though – so many reasons I can’t and won’t eat it, the aftertaste just being one). Congrats on losing the weight and AMEN to the people who are just there for the few weeks of resolution, though interestingly, I’ve seen more of them at the gym this week than I have since the first week of January. Maybe because Chicago is finally not below zero….
no brownies for breakfast, say it ain’t so
Those look awesomely delicious. And I saw you “werking” it in those photos. Git it girl.
I started using “My Fitness Pal” on my smart phone this year and it has really helped me change the way I eat and especially what I eat and how much of it I eat!
Well, that looks spectacular!
(your booty)
The brownies look pretty awesome too :)
