Did you know the Hershey Bears are the longest running hockey club in the United States still playing in their original city. In business since Milton Hershey established the club in 1932, they joined the American Hockey League in the 1938-39 season. The Bears serve as a developmental club for the Washington Capitals, but they have a major fan base of their own, and everyone loves Coco the bear.

Take a Trolley Works tour.
Honestly, the Trolley Works tour is one of the best things I’ve done while visiting Hershey. I loved riding the trolley around town and learning about the history of the town and the man who it’s named for. They also have seasonal adventures (for Halloween and Christmas) you can enjoy. Your kids will dig it because there will be chocolate, lots and lots of chocolate!
Take a stroll through the gardens.
The Hershey Gardens is a 23 acre botanical garden overlooking the town of Hershey. My favorite part was the butterfly atrium.
Get a dark chocolate spa treatment.
At Melt Spa downtown. I haven’t had one yet but it is for sure on my to do list!
Hit the greens.
You’re not gonna catch me walking around a golf course all day, but for people who dig that sort of thing, the courses in Hershey are said to be spectacular.
Explore the zoo.
ZooAmerica is an awesome destination for animal loving kids.
Or just ride roller coasters at HersheyPark until you puke.
Although I wouldn’t advise it because then you couldn’t enjoy all of the chocolate!
