I spent a portion of last weekend in Boston.
It was my first time.
It was a short trip.
I’m sad about that because what I did see of the city just made me wonder why the heck I’d never visited before and when the heck can I go back?
I don’t like questioning myself.
It opens the door for others to do so, too.
Sadly, I was only able to enjoy being out in the city for one afternoon and early-because-I-needed-my-beauty-sleep evening.
Luckily I got to take a couple of photos…
And get my grub on…
Before spending the next day indoors (it rained anyway so there) learning (some people are so smart it’s hardly even fair), and teaching (not really that much), and interacting (BBC is always jam packed with amazing women), and smiling my face off (seriously, my cheeks are still tender) enjoying the conference.
It was awesome.
And everyone looked so pretty and blog-conference-chic!
So much so in fact that I made some of them pose for photos as proof…

Heading off to SheCon or some other conference I wish I could learn-teach-interact-smile through? Now you have fashion inspiration!
What did you get snap happy about this week while I was chillaxin (aka sweating bullets offa my butt crack as I awaited my turn to speak in what was, quite possibly, the hottest room I’ve ever been in, ever) in Boston?
Link your Wordful Wednesday posts here and then head over to my bloggy buddy Angie’s and enjoy her post too!
P.S. Thank you to all of the nice people who left comments on last week’s post about my hair. I went ahead and trimmed the pieces around my face a little bit. I am so much happier with the way it frames my face now! Look out Ted!
Looks like a fun time. I grew up in Massachusetts – lived there up until the past 10 yrs – It’s a cool place.
Great shots, sounds like you had a lot of fun at the conference :)
so jealous!!!
i have always wanted to go to boston..
and to a conference :)
So glad you got to attend BBC. I heard it was awesome. I just started blogging so I knew nothing about it. Boston is such a beautiful place, I want to visit & live there one day. =)

You take amazing photos…now jump on a plane to Minnesota and teach me how you do it! ;)
You know Boston is only 45 minutes from Providence, RI, right? Hint…hint…
Jealous! Looks like so much fun!
Thanks for hosting this linky!!
Wow. That looks so fun! I’m so excited for BlogHer!
I wish I could have gone. Nice pic of mommakiss’ feet.
This looks like so much fun. One of these times I will have to finally go to a bloggy conference.
Love the fashion foto mongage! Learned so much…and your talk was my favorite! Thanks! If you’re ever back in town, you know where to find a tour guide…me!
Loved your afternoon talk Amanda, it was nice to meet you, albeit briefly! It was a great boot camp with tons on amazing women and speakers!
Oh I would love to make it to a Bloggy Boot Camp one of these days – I’ve heard so many good things about them. :) Love your photos – I haven’t been to Boston in 10 years, but you’re making me want to go back!
Man, that looks like an awesome time! Jealous! Thanks for hosting, once again!
It was go great to meet you in Boston! And even better to get a comment from you on my blog – I feel super special now! I loved your talk and you ARE awesome!
I love the effects you have on the pictures, it really adds character!
I sooo want to attend one of the bloggy boot camps soon!
Sounds like you had a fun time. Slightly jealous. Only slightly.
Looked like everyone had a great time!
Still bummed I missed it! I love Boston!
I’ve never been to Boston (aside from driving through in the middle of the night when I was moving to PA from Seattle), so now I feel better getting to see it through your amazing shots. ;)
Boston is a cool place…you should def go back after the rainy season.
Sounds like fun!
I think it is a testament to how tight the blog community is when every time I see someone got to meet or be with online people I love I get jealous. Happy for them, but jealous for me. It is hard when all of your friends live all over the place and you never get to see them.
Sounds great (except for the sweating), looking forward to going to BBC Chicago this summer.
So sad I missed it, but my baby brother’s graduation had to come first! You are right Boston is a fabulous city!!!
I have never been there but it sure looks fun with the beautiful scenery and lobsters!!
Happy Wednesday.
Such a fun place to visit…it looks like you had a blast!
Your photos are loverly – I do wish I could make them bigger to get a super good look at myself…I mean everyone. :)
See you this weekend!
Liza
I wished I oculd have gone but alas it was not in the cards but I see some of my blogger friends in your collage.
Hope to meet you in person one day.

What absolutely amazing photos! Looks like a fabulous trip with amazing memories made!
Fun time in the city (smiles) and the temperature looked just right (no jackets, hats or gloves!)

Really jealous – living at the other end of the world is not conductive to attending these wonderful events.
I would have loved to be there too (if only for the lobsters), but it’s just a little bit too far from home.
I love me some Bloggy Boot Camp. You took some great photographs. I wish I could go to every one.
Those are lovely shots! Thanks for the linky. I have added your link to my WW post.
Happy WW :)
Lucky duck! I love that you got to go again and I see pics of some of my favorite ladies! (Erica looks FABULOUS pregnant!)
Your pics of Boston are GORGEOUS.
I went to college in Massachusetts and wish I could’ve gone to Boston BBC so badly.
Looks like it was a good time. I recently went on a blog media trip to Florida. I had a wonderful time there, but think it went by way too fast. Didn’t really get to experience the area.
What a beautiful city! I’ve never been and always wanted to go!
Looks like you had a great time!
Boston is high on my list of places to travel to. I’m jealous of your seafood bib! Betcha that was some good eatin’ :D
WW
Glad you had an awesome trip! I really want to get to the east coast at some point in my life!!
What fun pictures! I’ve never been to Boston, but my husband has. He loved it!
Way jealous!!!
Wow. Your Boston photos are great. I would love to visit Boston someday…
looks like so much fun – Boston is awesome! Haven’t been there in 15 years though!
My choos! Except they’re totally not Choos. Target baby. You make my feet look good!!
Loved everyone’s style. And your photos of Boston are fab!!
LOVED my time at BBC in Austin. Such a great conference! Glad you got to eat some yummy food and see all those fabulous ladies!!
Can I just say that I LOVE your new haircut. It’s so sassy.
And, I’m jealous of your time . . I STILL need to get to a conference!
I so need to get to a conference! I’ve been to events but never a conference. Mostly because I’m cheap like that but looks like good times, good times!
loved meeting you (briefly!) at bbcbos. your portraits are fantastic, but i think @nicegirlnotes tee is probably my favorite. we all need that shirt.
How fun! I go to BBC Chicago – can’t wait! Great shots of the city, too.
How fun! I’m going to Bloggy Boot Camp in Chicago. You’ll be at that one too, right?
What fun pictures. I love the cart full of hanging windchimes! Sounds like a lot of fun.
Lucky you. I’ve never been to Boston. Your pics are great. I’m hoping maybe this summer (fingers crossed)…
Oh I cannot wait for the SITS girls to come to Minneapolis in 2012. Maybe you should make a roadtrip!
You captured a lot of fun times!
