The holiday season is officially upon us which means it’s time to unveil our 2019 Holiday Best Gifts for Teen Boys!
It’s an annual post curated in part by The Dudes to help parents find the coolest, hottest, most fun, hands-down best gifts for teen boys available in 2019. It’s a win win because you get to find out what the best gift for teen boys are right now and I get to easily knock out all of my holiday shopping for the season.
If you need more suggestions, be sure to take a peak at our previous holiday gift guides, lots of those items are still pretty relevant and available. You can find out previous lists here:
What are the Amazon Reviews and Ratings About
This list represents things my Dudes have identified as items they want or already own and think are superiorily cool. We hope that helps you make a final decision but also understand that picking a great gift for someone you love can be tough. We don’t want you having to rely solely on us to guide you. That’s what the Amazon reviews numbers and ratings are about. Things reviewed on Amazon at a high rate are purchased often, particularly if they have a high rating, so we wanted to point you towards those items to help you feel even more secure when you make the decision to buy.
All of the items listed on our 2019 Best Gifts for Teen Boys list aren’t available on Amazon (shocker, I know) and for those we won’t have Amazon ratings for obvious reasons. You’re gonna have to trust us and your own research when it comes to those items.
Now, let’s get shopping!
*This post uses affiliate links. If you use them to purchase I will receive a small commission. Each item recommended on DudeMom.com is one we currently own or plan to purchase for our own use. We never recommend anything we haven’t or wouldn’t try in our own home. Thank you for your support.*
2019 Holiday Gift Guides: 25 Best Gifts for Teen Boys
Best Gifts for Teen Boys with Cool Rooms
If you have a teenage son, you probably are well aware of how much time they like to spend in their rooms. This holiday season you can make it as comfy and enjoyable as possible, although there is an argument for making it more prison cell chic so they want to come out and spend more time with mom and dad.
Do what works for you, but here are some gift ideas for teen boys that will make their personal spaces pretty darn fantastic.
Wekapo Inflatable Lounger
Doesn’t require an air pump and has a multitude of uses. They can have friends sleep on it when they spend the night or even haul it to the lake and use it as a floaty. We have one and, have to admit, it’s pretty cozy.
Find it here: Wekapo Lounger

Portable Projector
For kids who don’t have a smart tv, this makes watching other people play video games on YouTube soooo much easier. Plug in the phone (with an adapter), project it on the wall. Will also make summer movie nights outside with the neighbors more fun too!

Best Gifts for Teen Boys who Love Gaming
A Video Game
Lots of cool titles are hitting the shelves just in time for holiday shopping. “Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order” just came out for Xbox, PS4 and PC. If your teen is a fan of the “Call of Duty” series, a new game was released in October that they’re sure to have on their list if they haven’t copped it yet. “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare” has received five stars from all of the teen gamers in my house. And, last but not least, one of the most anticipated games for 2019 is “Pokemon Sword and Shield“, for Nintendo Switch. They haven’t released a new Pokemon story in awhile so people are kinda amped over it. This one is technically two versions of the same game, a thing Pokemon, apparently, likes to do with their releases, which explains the cost if you get a double pack. You can buy the separately if the over $100 investment seems like overkill to you.
PS4 Controller
If you’ve got a PS4 player at home, they probably already this one, but do they have it in gold?!
Find it here: gold PS4 controller

Gaming Chair
If your teen is into gaming and plays at a desk like mine does, a comfy gaming chair might be on his wish list this season. Even if it isn’t maybe take the initiative and snag him one that will be ergonomically better than the folding chair he’s sitting in now.
I’ve seen these things for $200, $300, and even over $500 and, let me just say: homie don’t play that. This Homall gaming chair has strong ratings, good reviews, and retails for under $100. Merry Christmas, kiddo!

Best Gifts for Teen Boys Who are Super Active
Hover board
We didn’t snag one of these for our kids when they first came out because of that whole “the might burn your house down” rumor. I’m not sure if that was accurate or not, but to be on the safe side we decided to skip it. Seems like they’re sticking around now so you might consider slipping one under your tree this holiday season.
Try this one: Tomoloo Music Rhythmed Hoverboard

Dreampad Pillow
Dreampad delivers calming music and a gentle vibration through bone conduction to bring the nervous system into balance reducing stress and anxiety and allowing you to fall into a great night’s sleep. Dreampad music travels internally, signaling your nervous system to relax and, since only the person using it can hear or feel it, it won’t bother anyone else in the room.
This pillow works perfectly for people who struggle with anxiety, insomnia, and other issues, conditions, and disorders that make it difficult to relax into sleep. It has worked amazingly well for my son who struggle with anxiety and OCD.
